do we really need a special day to show our appreciation to our beloved parents?

An update. I'm so sorry for not updating and visiting any any any of your blogs. Currently i'm so-the-very busy preparing for the final examination. My next paper will be on 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th May. Five more to go. Wish me luck!

Back to the topic. Its Mother's Day. I admit that i don't remember the date, both Mother's Day and Father's Day. So sorry. But hey, i do call my mak and abah almost everyday okay.
Do we really need a special day to show our appreciation to our beloved parents? I don't think that we need a special day to remember what they had sacrificed for us. But maybe we can make it as an excuse to give them presents, hugs and kisses. But then, do we need a special day to give them hugs and kisses? Or to spend a lil of our money to give them gifts? Think!
Don't misunderstand me. All i want to deliver is, sometimes we don't realize that we had been so pathetic for being ashamed to kiss and hug our own mom and dad, but never get ourselves ashamed of hugging and kissing our partner in front of the crowd.
Sometimes we are so mingy to call our parents, just making a miscall so then they will call us back but we never ever care spending so much much much on top-up just to listen to our sweetheart's.
Attention to all guys out there, if you had a girlfriend who always ask you to call her, but never ever call you, always always always ask you to buy her this and that, bring her here and there, and always want you to spend your every minutes with her, not giving you a single chance to spend with your family and friends, shes actually your bitterheart, not sweetheart. *tiba-tiba*
In conclusion, love your mom and dad more than anyone else. We got 365 days in a year, don't just rely on this single day to show our appreciation.
Remember, no gift to your mother can ever equal her gift to you - life. (credit, abang manjung)
Not forgotten, Happy Mother's Day to my beloved mom, Puan Siti Zaharah, and to all women who hold the title. Happy Mother's Day :)
